After eighteen months of looking and testing different finishing procedures, we have developed an exclusive new black finish for steel fittings that meets our standards for appearance and corrosion resistance. Phenix Industries will be introducing this new finishing process on all of our steel fittings and steel PTFE hose ends over the next thirty days. You will no longer have to put up with a zinc or chrome finish when the rest of your plumbing is black.
These fittings are directed toward our street and off road customers. There are places that an aluminum fitting is just not appropriate when safety and strength are the primary requirement and now there is an alternative.
